The weeks and days before a Birkebeiner-race there are a lot of people that have questions for the people working at the BirkebeinerOffice on Rena. Some are more “intelligent” than others, and sometimes they stories can be real fun. One person met for start…. One week early?? In this article you can read some of the stories.

A little too early…?
Friday March. 15^th a Norwegian came all the was from Stockholdm in Sweden to the Birkebeineroffice. He was planning to go the Birkebeiner the day after. The reason was that he thought the Birkebeiner always was two weeks after the Vasalopp, but this year it was three weeks after….

Where is my underwear…?
A few years ago, after the race, a man called and asked if we had found his anderwear. He couldn’t find it. The next year – one week before the race – the man called again. He was very proud. He had found his underwear in the backpack he used one year before.

Specialmade toilets!
Once a lady called and wondered where the toilets were. They are as many knows around the startarea and in the finisharea in Lillehammer. This she was told. She asked if there could be put ut toilets in the trace, up in the mountain, they could go directly into, without taking of their skies. They would save a lot of time… of course….

Standardquestion...
There are some standardquestions: -What are we going to use to prepare our skies? Poeple ask, sometimes two weeks before the race. A lot of people wonder if it is the same snow this year as last year.
