After a good ending in this years WC and gold medal on the 30km during the Olympics in Salt Lake City Gabriel Paruzzi is ready to give maximum effort in this years Birkebeinerrace. She hopes to start of easy and increasing during the race.

Tactics
As his fellow countryman Pietro Piller Cotterer she want to start out easy on the mass-start. Then she will increase the tempo in ordinary Paruzzi-style.

Even though the conditions are hard to figure out, in such a long race, she hopes to go good. – It’s difficult to know how the race will turn out, says Paruzzi.

Favourite
- Anita Moen is my personal favourite. She knows the track well from before, and I think she is going to win. Bente Skari might do good, as well. And I bet a bit on Stafania, she grins.

She don’t see herself as one of the favourites. It’s the end of the season and Gabriela is, as Belmono, tired and exhausted after a long season.

But ending with saying she will give all she has. Do we have a surprise coming up?
