Paruzzi and Di Centa satisfied after the Finish

Both the Italian ski-stars told birken.no after the race that they were satisfied. The future of Cross Country skiing is the  mass-start Girogio De Centa told us after passing the Finish Line.

Gabriella Paruzzi finished on a respectable 5th place i Womens Class and Giorgio Di Centa came in as No. 15 in Mens Class a little over 6 minutes after the winner.

 "Nice race"
 Both athletes admires the race and are glad to be in Lillehammer. The hills were hard in the start and my skies could have been better, Di Centa says to birken.no

Mass-start is the future
 DI Centa is vague when he is asked if the Birkebeiner should be part of World Cup, but he says that mass-start definitively is the future for international cross-country skiing.
